Other than visiting my brother (who was still living in Singapore last June), we also visited some our family friends during our free time. One of them worked in Google Singapore, and she was kind enough to tour us around the office and let us try the food at the Google cafeteria! This marks my second Google office visit after Google Japan (way back when I was invited to be a Cool Japan ambassador in early 2014).
It’s exactly how I imagined it to be! See for yourself–
- First time in this part of town.
- Still their old logo, hehe.
- Google colors!
- Currently trending search engine results.
- The view from their office is all sorts of amazing. Check out Marina Bay Sands.
- Fun lamp thingies at the reception desk.
- One of the common workplaces near the pantry.
- I don’t ca-a-a-a-a-re.
- Google Orient Express a.k.a. a fancy meeting room!
- Consistent with the bright colors.
- The walls have an interesting design too.
- My favorite part of Google Singapore.
- LEGO WALL!
- Spotted a Philippine flag!
- I’d hang out here everyday if I worked here.
- Creative spark.
- Boracay room! You can actually take a nap here.
- Thanks Google Singapore for allowing us to go around and take photos! Makes me want to work in/for Google!
