When in Tokyo, meet up with the #TokyoCrew! Gervin, Ashley, Kaila, and Kiko were kind enough to make time for me on the only free night that I had in Tokyo. I know they’re working hard with their own jobs, and it’s not always easy to go to the heart of the city (Kiko has to take a train all the way from Gunma every time!), so it always warms my heart when they manage to squeeze me in their already-busy schedules! Sometimes, I wonder if I really deserve this kind of kindness. ;_;
Taken on my walk back to my hotel from Harajuku/Omotesando. The weather was so bipolar last March. One day it’d be so chilly (like winter-type of freezing), and the next day it’d be a perfect spring day where girls can get away with bare legs.
How advertising works in Japan. (Also, I love this song!)
Busy Shibuya, as always. Taken around 5 or 5:30 in the afternoon.
More osoroi matchy-matchy dressing. Gyaru is still alive.
Turn on the lights, turn on the lights.
After this, I changed to comfy clothes, and met up with the gang at this quirky, hipster place called “and people”.
Thanks to these girls for the recommendation!
Tourists like me wouldn’t easily know about these hidden gems.
The interiors were so pretty! Ashley says it looks totally different in the afternoon, but just as pretty.
In the evening, it turns into some sort of dark, cozy place where you can just relax and be yourself.
It was so dark, I gave up on taking proper photos, lol. But the food (pizza and pasta, mostly) were SO, SO GOOD.
Not sure what this place is called, but and people is located in this area. Part of the back streets of Shibuya.
We took purikura as usual, and we all had such a blast taking it, lol. It’s always a challenge to fit 5 people in a booth made for 2, lol.
As usual, thank you for the hospitality! <3 Kiko and Ashley are actually in the Philippines now! Still waiting for you guys to come back and visit, Gervin and Kaila!
