Everyone knows I swear by Japanese quality products, and Shu Uemura is no exception. I’ve been using their cleansing oil for as long as I can remember, and I consider their Tsuya Skin my instant cure to dry, sleep-deprived skin.
Last January 27, they launched their new Metallic Bouquet collection at Shangri-la East Wing. They were inspired by none other than hanabi, or the summer/fireworks festival in Japan. I’ve never been to Japan during summer, but this made me consider making a summer trip happen. I want to wear a yukata and live out my shoujo manga heroine dreams!
Included in the Metallic Bouquet collection is a whole spectrum of colored liquid eyeliners with a metallic finish.
My friend Nadia showed me the magic of these eyeliners! They’re supposed to be smudge-proof for 24 hours. I need these in my life because I have sweaty eyelids in summer, lol /TMI
My favorite look of the show! You’d think that these eyeliners will be hard to pull off but they were able to make them look so pretty and wearable.
The nine shuMasters, Patrick Alcober, Angie Cruz, Riza de Guzman, Cats del Rosario, Omar Ermita, EJ Mallorca, Hanna Pechon, Claire Diokno and John Pagaduan, participated in a fashion-meets-beauty show, featuring today’s leading local fashion designers, Eric delos Santos, Milka Quin and Sassa Jimenez.
The launch was all sorts of amazing! Congrats to the Shu Uemura team.
Pasig Paulinian bloggers represent! Always a pleasure bumping into Tracy.
With Karen who I haven’t seen in a long time!
What’s a Shu Uemura collection without quirky false lashes?
The whole collection, including the trio eyeshadow palettes and limited edition lipsticks.
Fireworks-inspired make-up. Kawaii!
Promise I’ll experiment with more colors this summer! <3
