The Perfect Travel Watch

Isn’t it tedious when you have to manually adjust the time on your watch every time you travel to a different time zone? I’m pretty sure this is one of the reasons why most people have just converted to telling time through their smartphones. Oh, how lazy we’ve become.

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely one of the very few ones who still prefer wearing watches – I actually feel naked going out of the house without anything on my wrist.

Ever since I got engaged, I’ve been on my toes more than usual, and I’ve been looking at time more consciously now. I used to believe that’s it’s already hard to execute all my ideas and stick to a strict, disciplined schedule (a must if you’re living a freelance life!) at the same time without getting overly anxious, but it’s even harder when you have to organize such a huge life event simultaneously.

Props to all the awesome brides out there who managed to pull wedding planning off without feeling so haggard! It’s so easy to procrastinate but it’s also just as easy to regret wasting precious time. I’m so guilty, huhu. 24 hours aren’t enough to work *and* fangirl at the same time, lol. I did manage to finish Boku Dake ga Inai Machi and Stranger Things though. I also lost a lot of beauty sleep in the process – yikes.

Speaking of time and watches, I just discovered the perfect travel watch. I mean, someone from the Casio R&D team must’ve peeked into my mind when they decided to create the Sheen SHB-100. It comes in 3 colorways, with the peach gold one being *the* SHB-100 signature color. I feel like it’s such a unique colorway – a great in-between color if you already have too many silver and gold watches. Looks-wise, the Twin Swarovski® Crystals that are set in the 12 o’clock position and the Twin Ring design make for a simple yet elegant timepiece. I know I sport similar-looking watches all the time, but this one doesn’t look like anything I already own.

When I mentioned someone peeking into my mind, I remember once telling my friends that I wish there could be an app that’d change the dials on my watch for me. IT’S HERE. IT’S FINALLY HERE. I want all my watches to be like this!

Basically, all I needed to do when I got my own SHB-100 was download the CASIO WATCH+ app and sync the time from my phone to the watch with the built-in bluetooth. The smaller inset dial can be changed to whatever time zone I want. The bluetooth feature adjust everything accordingly.
