I was in Osaka on what was said to be the first day of spring. We never really had an exact date to determine the start of summer, but I guess it’s these kinds of events that officially mark the change of temperature here in Manila. It’s definitely getting hotter, and I bet we’re all looking for some spring/summer inspiration for our OOTDs.
On the first week of March, Rustan’s transformed The Loft at Manansala into a vibrant, summer playground. Different kinds of amazing gourmet food were served throughout the sunset party, and I myself had about 4 servings of cheese at the raclette table (sorry not sorry)! There was also an elaborate flower market set-up (obviously my fave corner) that you probably saw all over Instagram. The flower wall was very much appreciated as well (with NY-based photographer JC Cerilla taking professional portraits), especially for girls like me who are in the process of planning a wedding. Can I have one at my wedding too?
The highlight of the evening was an intimate fashion presentation where you can actually see the clothes from Rustan’s latest collection up close. The models walked so close to us that I could touch the clothes if I wanted to!
Featured brands included Josie Natori, Pedro Del Hierro, Adolfo Dominguez, Marina Rinaldi, Carolee, Majorica, Longchamp, Loewe, Fendi, Rebecca Minkoff, Christian Louboutin, Sergio Rossi, Faconnable, Ascott Chang, Thomas Pink, Tsovet, Miansai, Bugatti, Casa Alegre, Kate Spade, Lenox, Rosenthal, Portmeiron, Franz, Lladro, and Lalique.
