Thanks to BOBSON Japan, I was able to visit Okayama a.k.a. the sacred land of Japanese denim. One of the highlights of the area is the Okayama Jeans Museum. Betty Smith has been around since the 1960s as one of the leading manufacturers of ladies’ jeans. The company created a museum to show the history behind Japanese denim, dating back to the oldest American brands that first influenced Japanese fashion.
