Taken last June in Singapore. Straight from the airport and the hotel, my family and I immediately went to Orchard Road for some R&R a.k.a. retail therapy. I was also in Singapore last March so I didn’t really feel like splurging again, though I did treat myself to lots and lots of food.
Traveling with family is always super laid back versus traveling alone or traveling for work. For me, there’s nothing stressful about creating detailed itineraries for our family trips. Actually, I’m supposed to be in Fukuoka right now with my parents (ugh, it’s the peak of autumn too!) but our trip got postponed because of the APEC. At least I get to work on my backlog, lol. Positive thinking! I sure miss the autumn leaves of Kyoto though. My November trip last year was such a life changer. Maybe next year!
Anyhow, here’s my simple airport outfit that mostly follows my white top + denim no-fail formula. Burnt orange and dark blue together is surprisingly becoming one of my fave color combinations. The graphic tee is from the Maison de Reefur pop-up store in Osaka. I have yet to visit the flagship store in Daikanyama (it was under construction when I went), but in the meantime, I’ll just continue dreaming about becoming Rinka and producing a simple yet chic lifestyle brand like Maison de Reefur.
