A girl is transported to a garden forever stuck in a state of noon. However, her time traveling powers only work at twilight.
For hours, she moves around in circles to see if there are any evident changes in time. She looks at the world outside – everything is at a standstill.
As she sighs in hopelessness, she unexpectedly notices that her own cloud of breath doesn’t seem to be affected.
The rocks’ shadows do not move. Her nervous hands and shuffling feet do.
The passage of time has chosen a sacrifice.
