What do I wear on a quick 3-day escape to Hong Kong? Playful prints that perfectly match a city that’s made of full of different prints and textures.
Recently, I’ve become a plain white tee and jeans kind of girl, but these prints are just too tasteful to pass up. I managed to score some wonderful pieces from Mango’s latest collection – you might actually already find some of these pieces at their ongoing mid-season sale!
I know wearing prints can be intimidating for some, so here are some of my style tips if you find yourself looking for ways how to spice up your travel OOTDs:
1) Wear a printed scarf as an accent to a simple outfit.
Taken against Shinji Ohmaki’s “Memorial Rebirth”, part of the Harbour City Summer Public Art Project. I wore this top backwards on purpose!
2) Show off your playful side by mixing different prints together.
Taken at the Former French Mission Building in Central. A French bulldog-printed top because I miss my own Frenchie, Wabi!
3) Blend in and stand out with your personal style.
Taken at Tsim Sha Tsui Station and the Kowloon Park Drive Playground. I always love a good print that can blend in with nature and the surroundings!
