So many things to do, so little time. I’ve been so busy lately that I can’t be bothered to go to any kind of salon as often as I used to. I’m itching to change my hair color again, but haven’t had time to visit the nearest Status Salon yet!
Anyhow, thank heavens for Japanese gel nail salons because my nails can last me a whole month without any chipping or damage. They are definitely more low maintenance than regular polish, albeit a lot more pricey. You get what you pay for though.
I still go to Kiyosa for my nails, but I heard there are other nailists popping up in the metro recently! 2014 has definitely been a good year for Japanese beauty/lifestyle in the Philippines. Good times.
Kiyosa’s selection of colors and styles! Thinking of choosing something other than pink or nude next month. “BER” season is right around the corner, so I’ll probably do Christmas shades soon.
I’m super predictable when it comes to nail polish colors! I rarely go for bright, striking, or neon shades, and this also reflects on my personal style as well. I have yet to go out of my comfort zone when it comes to anything loud and conspicuous.
Rieko-san working on my short nails! While you can maximize designs with longer nails, keeping my nails short and square is a personal preference. :D
Otona-poi S/S nails with daisies on my index fingers and little fingers. On the middle of each flower is a little gold charm! I also asked them to place a subtle pearl accent on my middle fingers.
My nails on the upper left, and the Kiyosa staff’s nails. Everything here is drawn manually (no stickers or stamps used here!), so you can just imagine how steady their hands are!
3 weeks ago was such an ideal time to visit and take photos because most of them have just changed their nails. No nail growth yet!
