Charriol St-Tropez Style Launch at Balesin February 2015 Part 2

Rise and shine! Who wakes up at 5 in the morning just to tour and take pictures? For the first time in my life, I felt like I was being a good blogger!

And so my day started at everyone’s favorite Balesin destination – Mykonos Village.

My mom and I had the whole village all to ourselves as we went so early in the morning.

Hello? Anyone there?

It’s amazing how a place like this exists in the Philippines. The whole island of Balesin has themed villages depending on your tastes. Mykonos came as a huge surprise, especially after only seeing Bali (the Indonesian-themed village where we were staying) and Balesin Village (Filipino-themed).

Sometimes you have to pinch yourself as a reminder that you’re not actually in Greece. I can tell why people go crazy over this place. It’s easily to transport yourself to different countries while you’re here, and it’s only a 30 minute plane ride from the heart of Manila.

Took the opportunity to go for a quick dip with my mom. The water was still cold, so we transferred to the pool/jacuzzi after a few minutes.

I know I’m always wearing, like, a 1950s bathing suit. #TayTay

If anyone’s wondering, this is the Tricia Gosingtian x i love koi “Lolita” suit! More posts on this swimsuit here and here.

Brunch at Balesin Village.

Time (pun intended) for the main agenda – the Charriol St-Tropez Style launch!

The timepiece of the hour (I’m on a roll, lol) – the newest Charriol St-Tropez designs that come in stainless steel and rose gold, together with the new customizable chains and clips to suit your mood.

Saw a chain that had pearls on them. I immediately fell in love.

Here’s how it looks like when worn! Who needs to stack arm candy when you’ve got this already?

Alexandre Charriol talked about the product, building up anticipation for the night’s fashion show.

Koi (恋) means love! And I was loving every bit of this event!

Toscana! Where Heart and Chiz held their wedding reception…?

Anyhow, we had the afternoon all to ourselves, so I went with some magazine editors on a quick tour around the island. I was unable to do so in the morning since I got so hung up on Mykonos.

So much that I had to visit it a second time. Maybe next time I’ll stay here…?

(Keep dreaming, Tricia!)

Next stop was the Spanish-themed village, Costa del Sol.

Pool with a beach view.

Really looks like a different country.

Last stop – Phuket, the Thai village. I fell in love with the villas here, even if all the villas have more or less the exact same interior design. Maybe next time…?

(Okay, I’m *really* getting ahead of myself!)

The pool and beach view here isn’t bad at all either! And the whole island is so private and quiet – perfect for introverts like me who aren’t into crazy partying!

One last look at paradise before heading back to prepare for the Charriol photoshoot and fashion show.

This leaves me with one last post on this amazing trip. Balesin definitely brought me closer to the sea. Thanks to Charriol for this experience!
