Beyond The Cutest Dreams – The Kawaii PH Book Launch

The first Philippine book on kawaii culture was officially launched last June 17, 2015 at the Mega A Event Center in SM Megamall! I dropped by to show my support since I couldn’t miss such a giant leap for Japanese culture and Harajuku fashion enthusiasts living in the Philippines. I’m so proud of Kaila and the rest of her team for pulling this off!

The books are available in the Kawaii PH Store, and will also most likely be sold in future Kawaii PH events. It contains information about kawaii culture, DIY tutorials, pastry recipes, etc. Definitely a must-have if you love everything cute.

Besides the book, the event also announced the nationwide airing of Kawaii International Season 2 from NHK on our local channel 13. Yay! You can watch my appearances there if you missed the episodes a few months ago.

I’m sooo glad Ashley’s back in Manila!

It’s all good vibes and positivity in Kawaii PH events. Took the opportunity to feature some of the amazing fashion I spotted during the event.

Thanks for your gift and sweet message, Celina!

Highlight of the event was the Harajuku Fashion Walk where the Kawaii PH team picked some of the best-dressed event attendees to walk on stage.

Kawaii isn’t just for girls! I love how these guys went all out with their Harajuku-inspired outfits.

Lace and pastel colors. It’s inspiring how some of these girls make their own clothes from scratch. THE DEDICATION.

The founder of Kawaii Philippines herself! Thank you for always sharing your dreams with us, Kaila.

Had so much fun! ‘Til the next Kawaii PH event! (If you missed my post on Kawaii in Manila 2 last year, you can check it out here.)
