Bali April 2015 Day 2 – Tegalalang Rice Terraces

It was an early start for us on our second day in Bali. We hired a driver for the whole duration of the trip, and recommended to drive to Ubud first thing in the morning. It’s a cozy, artsy town in Bali with an abundance of nature, relaxing spas, art markets, and the like.

20 minutes before reaching Ubud from Bali, we stopped by one of the most famous sites for tourists – Tegalalang Rice Terraces.

Breathtaking view.

Seizing the summer the best way – with this one!

Around the vicinity, there are a lot of nice souvenir shops. I’d recommend against buying anything here though, especially if you’re going to any of Ubud’s markets. You can get the same things for a much cheaper price.

There are some small shops here too, though we only stopped by one store that sold bottled water.

We then stopped by a restaurant with a wide rice field (?) in front of it. I can’t remember the name, but I promise to edit this entry again once I find out.

THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD. I finished mine in a flash.

So nice to take photos around the area of the restaurant too.
