Fairground: Pinkspiration

Seems like printed bottoms aren’t going away any time soon. So obsessed. This particular one feels so comfortable, kind of like all the loose pajama-ish pants that I keep on wearing in the past. The print is quite original and eye-catching that when I went to a store in Melbourne and saw a skirt with the same fabric, I totally shrieked “OMG FAIRGROUND!”.

The colors are gorgeous as well. You can never go wrong with black, white and pink. Such a girly combination that’s sure to make any outfit look quirkier and more playful compared to any other color accent.

I paired my new pants with a gradient blazer, which coincidentally matched the pink of my pants! Usually we see suit sets with the same fabric or print, but who would’ve thought that this technique could also work?

Ombre/dip dyed hair was such a huge hit last season, but I think I prefer this trend on my clothes better than on my hair. Though it was fun photoshopping my hair in different colors back when I was blonde, I think I’ll keep it classy by keeping my hair just one color for now. I dyed it a shade darker a few days after I shot these pictures, but I’m sure you all would just be like my boyfriend who never notices these subtle changes until I point them out. Hee.

While I’m still not into piling on accessories, I believe this coordinate makes a huge statement! Just look at Elle Woods in Legally Blonde for some pinkspiration if you’re into corporate-ish items such as blazers and high-waist trousers but want to put a fun and feminine twist to them.
