My Facebook feed exploded with status messages reading “Sephora, just take all my money!”, and I could totally relate! I never go home without a Sephora haul when I go to the US and Singapore. I can’t anymore keep count of all the Urban Decay primer potions I’ve emptied in my lifetime. Finally, after years of rumors and broken hearted beauty junkies, Sephora is officially online in the Philippines. All the biggest international beauty brands can now be shipped straight to our doorsteps!
Seriously, Sephora. They’re also selling 3CE. Just take all my money. And I was supposed to save up for my wedding too! Good thing the beauty gods answered my prayers and sent me a personalized Sephora Online care package. February’s off to a good start!
And with that care package, I was able to come up with this simple, no make-up look. I’m definitely not looking forward to summer, but this is probably how I’ll do my make-up when the time comes.
Good make-up day! Simple is the way!
The Sephora Online care package includes all these goodies. I’m so curious about Alpha-H Liquid Gold the most, judging by the name. Has anyone here tried it yet? The Winky Lux Radiant Pink strobing balm didn’t seem like it worked on me, though I probably used it wrong!
So far, I’m loving the Mirenesse products the most. Turns out they’re paraben-free too! Surprised by the LAQA&Co. Lip Lube Pencil in Honeypot. Haven’t tried a pastel lip in a while but this is one is slowly taking me back to my younger days when I used to obsess about nude and pink lipstick.
How cute of them to include these personalized brushes as well!
Time for a quick tutorial! These eye make-up products are my personal picks from the Sephora Online care package. Follow the steps below to achieve a simple, everyday eye make-up look.
1. Nudestix Magnetic Eye Color in Immortal (darker color) and Gilt (lighter color) are perfect for oily lids like mine! Absolutely no creases or smudges here. I used the darker color on top and the lighter color on my bottom lash line (my signature namida bukuro / aegyo sal technique!).
2. Create a cat-eye with Mirenesse D.A.D. Define Art Duet Thick + Thin 24HR Liquid Eyeliner. I love how black this eyeliner is.
3. Make your eyes pop with Mirenesse Forbidden Ink Eye Liner in #9 Orgasm. Such a cute, flattering light pink.
4. Finish the look off with Mirenesse Secret Weapon Supreme 24HR Mascara. I don’t really wear falsies as often as I used to (chalk it up to laziness), but this one does a great job in lengthening and volumizing my sparse lashes.
Wishlist! From L-R: 3CE Dot Eyeshadow Palette in Sienna, Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner, Sleek MakeUP Blush By 3 in Pink Sprint, ZOEVA brush set, and Glasshouse Fragrances Kyoto Triple-Scented Candle. Basically, I want everything from Sephora…
