Thank you for making this album viral on Facebook! Stay tuned ’til the end of the post for more information on how you can also have a pre-wedding photo shoot in Korea c/o Wedding Seoul.
I’m so happy with how this shoot turned out because it’s sooo me, and I’m really lucky to be able to collaborate with so many amazing wedding suppliers throughout our whole planning journey. Who would’ve thought news of our wedding would reach all the way in Korea!
This pre-wedding shoot was in collaboration with Della Studio, a one-stop “total shop” that takes care of everything from photography to wardrobe styling and hair and make-up. Included in their package is an indoor shoot and outdoor shoot, with preps starting in their studio as early as 8 in the morning. They picked Songpa Naru Park, Seokchon Lake, Olympic Park, and Banpo Hangang Park to capture the most romantic autumn scenes for us, but locations will depend on the season and weather, and of course, the creative vision of the studio and the couple. At the end of the photo shoot, the couple will receive 1 big frame photo as well as an album with 30 retouched photos to be mailed in 2-3 months. Currently waiting for ours!
In terms of wardrobe, Wedding Seoul informed the Della Studio of our sizes beforehand, so everything was all set and ready on the day of the shoot. It’s not obvious in the photos, but I actually wore the same lace dress in 3 outdoor locations. They managed to make it look different every time by layering items like coats, sweaters, and tulle skirts, as well as changing the accessories on my hair. The magic of styling!
I got to choose from a catalog which wedding dress I wanted wear in the studio shoot, but I let the studio style me and Rg for the location shoot for full K-drama feels. It was super convenient because we didn’t have to bring anything except ourselves, and actually more cost-efficient since we didn’t have to fly in a whole glam team from Manila. Not bad for $2000+++! Saves you the headache of having to manage so many people and bringing so much stuff.
Wedding Seoul recommends to place inquiries/orders 6 months in advance. In case of special locations outside of Seoul, transportation will be provided by the studio, but gas and toll fees will be shouldered by the couple. Studio packages don’t include airfare and accommodation, but Wedding Seoul has partner travel agencies that can customize all-in packages for easier planning. No need to be afraid of any language barriers because Wedding Seoul has interpreter services included.
Even if you’re not getting married yet, Wedding Seoul can also do date photo shoots and phoTOURshoots in collaboration with their partner studios. If you’re a die-hard fan of K-dramas and shows like We Got Married, or just a fan of Korean aesthetics, you’ll definitely want to cross this experience off your bucket list!
Filipinos can now easily have their very own Korea pre-wedding shoot thanks to Wedding Seoul!
