Japan’s oldest standing church is in Nagasaki! Oura Church, one of Nagasaki’s most famous landmarks, is also the only Western building to be designated as a national treasure in Japan. Behind it is Glover Garden, an area where Nagasaki’s former western residents used to stay.
I’ve already been to these places before, but nothing in Japan ever gets old, I swear! Getting to experience places over and over again is also good for my separation anxiety, lol.
Nagasaki is such a quaint town. I feel like if I were born in bigger cities like Tokyo or Osaka, I’d love to retire in Nagasaki one day.
