What’s not to love about Taipei’s Huashan 1914 Creative Park? It’s basically every hipster’s dream – a 60+ year old winery-turned-creative space with lots of inspiring indie brands, specialty stores, art exhibits, third wave coffee shops, bars, cinemas, and occasional mini concerts by Taipei’s most promising musicians.
It didn’t hurt that the industrial-organic aesthetic of the whole place fit right up my alley, and I found myself unintentionally blending in with the art and the buildings. I must’ve spent a good 3 hours here even if I wasn’t able to check out its famous 3-storey upside down house because of the queue.
You can easily access it from Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station on the blue line. Paper St. Coffee Company (from this post) is very near the creative park.
